Come and ride 100 km’s of the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail in the beautiful alpine area of Northern Victoria. Based out of Myrtleford, this 4 day event with 2 days of riding, passes through forests, farmlands, open fields and country towns, with the amazing Australian Alps all around you.
Current Alpine Ride Dates: - Monday 30th March - Thursday 2nd April 2026
The Alpine Ride is always implemented during the last academic week of Term 1
The route follows a railway line from a bygone era, and while it presents a challenge, it is a thoroughly enjoyable and pleasurable experience as we ride at a comfortable pace through the region
The ride is supported by Victoria Police, Alpine Shire Council, First Aid support, the Savoy Club and includes an AFL training session and BBQ with The Myrtleford Alpine Saints Football Netball Club team.
