As a school, Blackwood values its relationships with visiting students and staff and is committed to working with visiting schools to deliver quality educational programs that enhance student outcomes both at Blackwood and beyond.
It is imperative that prior to this application being completed, that all applications are supported by the Principal and your School’s Leadership Team is fully aware of the commitment, cost and time required to plan, prepare, implement and review a Blackwood Program and understand that your school are responsible for providing staff to meet overnight supervision requirements in accordance with DET Policy and the needs of your students.
We understand the considerable time and effort that schools put into organising and implementing programs at Blackwood and we work closely with schools to ensure that the program designed best supports student outcomes.
Throughout this program visiting schools must arrange all food, camping and accommodation requirements and costs as well as transport to and from the Expedition location.
