Blackwood proudly offers students a unique opportunity to further challenge themselves beyond their comfort zones by accepting the challenge of flight and accessing our flying foxes. While this lesson can be implemented as a single lesson, it is best conducted in conjunction with High Ropes or the Climbing Tower.

There are 2 Flying Foxes at Blackwood Special Schools Outdoor Education Centre. All different in their take-off height & length but all follow the same safety precautions and speed restrictions. With this in mind accessing our Flying Foxes still offers students a exhilarating experience as they can choose a variety of in-flight experiences:-
- Eyes Closed ... Eyes Open
- Silent ... Noisy
- Tight Grip ... No hands
- Vertical ... Inverted
- Individually ... With a Friend
...... or ALL OF THE ABOVE.
